The Northwest Vermont Accounting Scholarship Fund was created by Wallace, W. Tapia, P.C. Certified Public Accountants of Burlington, as a means of encouraging students to enter the accounting profession. Since the program's inception in 1997, the Firm has awarded 21 scholarships to deserving Vermont students committed to pursuing a career in the field of accounting. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be a resident of Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, or Washington County, demonstrate an intent to enter the accounting profession, and enroll in an accredited post-secondary accounting degree program.
