EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS SOUGHT

Mid-sized, rapidly growing public accounting firm in Burlington, Vermont seeks experienced CPA's to join our team and assume primary responsibility for tax and financial statement engagements.  The responsibilities associated with each position are described below.  We offer an attractive compensation package, excellent working environment, a supportive and compatible team of co-workers, and future growth potential.  The ideal candidate for each position will be a highly motivated individual with strong communication and analytical skills. 

We are located in Burlington, Vermont, voted one of America's "Most Livable Cities" overlooking scenic Lake Champlain.  The city is home to a variety of colleges, including the University of Vermont, and offers a wide range of cultural, social, and recreational opportunities, including boating, skiing, hiking, and cycling.

TAX SPECIALIST

Since a primary focus of our firm consists of providing services to nonprofit organizations, (including artistic and cultural organizations, museums, environmental and human service agencies, private foundations, and trade associations), experience of between 4 and 10 years with the issues specific to tax-exempt organizations is prefereable, with some individual and corporate tax experience also desirable.

SENIOR AUDITOR

Between 2 and 6 years of experience in performing attest services for nonprofit organizations is required as are strong writing and verbal communication skills and a solid foundation in accounting, preferably as applied to nonprofit organizations.  Some prior tax experience also considered a plus.
